I’m hunting for a compact digital digital camera which I can use both in and out of the water. Most of the good waterproof cameras which I have discovered are only rated to ten meters, which is inadequate. Am I much better off getting a standard digital camera and a waterproof situation? I have seen some of these offered by Canon.

There is the Vivitar ViviCam 8400. It has eight.1 megapixles, and 8x digital zoom. It is waterproof up to 10 meters. The evaluations arent the finest, and i dont know if it would be wonderful for standard image taking. but, its on sale for about 90$ on amazon.com. I feel its worth it for some excellent when-in-a-lifetime scuba photographs!!!!!
